The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the daily operations of the company's pest control, grease trap cleaning, kitchen hood cleaning, and cleaning service divisions. The role ensures efficient service delivery, compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, customer satisfaction, workforce management, and achievement of operational and financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Manage and coordinate daily field operations across all service divisions.
Develop work schedules and assign technicians, drivers, and cleaning crews.
Ensure timely completion of service jobs according to client contracts and company standards.
Monitor productivity, service quality, and operational efficiency.
Implement operational procedures and best practices to improve performance.
Service Delivery & Quality Control
Ensure all pest control treatments, grease trap cleaning, kitchen hood cleaning, and cleaning services meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct site inspections and quality audits.
Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Staff Management
Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate field staff and supervisors.
Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions.
Ensure technicians maintain required certifications, licenses, and training.
Promote a positive safety culture and professional work environment.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with local health, safety, environmental, and municipal regulations.
Enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and implement preventive measures.
Fleet & Equipment Management
Oversee maintenance and utilization of company vehicles, pest control equipment, grease trap service equipment, pressure washers, vacuum systems, and hood cleaning tools.
Ensure proper inventory control of chemicals, cleaning supplies, and consumables.
Monitor fuel usage and equipment performance.
Client & Contract Management
Maintain strong relationships with commercial, residential, hospitality, restaurant, and industrial clients.
Coordinate service schedules with customers.
Support contract renewals and business development efforts.
Attend client meetings and resolve operational issues.
Financial & Budget Control
Monitor operational costs and departmental budgets.
Review job profitability and resource utilization.
Approve operational purchases within authorized limits.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Maintain service records, inspection reports, chemical usage logs, and compliance documentation.
Provide operational updates to senior management.

Qualifications
