  • Achieves plants’ production goals by coordinating all related operations according to company’s policies and procedures for the attainment of business objectives and products’ standards
  • Coordinates operational activities in collaboration with Group Department Heads to ensure alignment with corporate strategies and directives.
  • Engages with local Department Managers to coordinate material planning, procurement, production, and shipping activities, while managing relationships with key operational vendors to ensure smooth and efficient collaboration.
  • Ensures that the quantities and types of raw materials and finished products are accurately planned and scheduled to maintain optimal warehouse stock levels and achieve all production targets—covering quantity, timeline, quality, and cost—through effective control and coordination of the relevant departments.
  • Executes plans, processes, and projects aimed at minimizing manufacturing costs by ensuring the efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital resources.
  • Assesses and recommends investments or modifications to manufacturing facilities to enhance production efficiency, in close coordination with and under the direction of the Parent Company’s Central Engineering division.
  • Collaborates with Quality Assurance (System Improvement) to develop and maintain the Quality Manual and related documentation, ensuring accurate references and effective implementation of the Quality Management System.
  • Consistently promotes awareness of quality issues and ensures compliance with procedures across all company departments by organizing regular meetings at every level.
  • Provides the Quality Assurance (System Improvement) team with all necessary information for the periodic review of the Quality Management System and recommends quality improvements based on insights from notifications, audits, inspections, and meetings with various company departments.
  • Ensures full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety and environmental standards, while maintaining effective relationships with external safety and environmental authorities.
  • In collaboration with the Health & Safety Officer, advises the Managing Director on addressing safety issues within company operations and recommends appropriate safety plans, in alignment with Department Heads.
  • Leads, coaches, and mentors Operations Management personnel, providing constructive performance feedback in line with established operational quality standards, and ensures adherence or corrective action in coordination with the Managing Director and the Parent Company.
  • Actively contributes to the recruitment, selection, and training of Operations Management personnel in partnership with the Managing Director, HR, and the Parent Company, to attract, develop, and retain skilled and motivated employees.
  • Continuously enhances personnel allocation within Operations departments and streamlines processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Develops operational policies, procedures, and strategic plans—including annual operations plans, five-year business plans, and special reviews—to support effective decision-making and strategic alignment.
  • Defines key policies, plans, and strategic initiatives, addresses operational challenges, and identifies growth opportunities to foster a high-performance culture and sustain strong employee morale.

Qualifications

  • Min 5 years’ experience in manufacturing within a Multinational Company with 2-3 years of managerial experience focused on Operations Management.
  • Fluent in English language, in written and verbal communication.
  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or Management) (AEI).
  • Strong knowledge in Project Management and Total Quality Management (TQM) principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office/IT Knowledge.
