Job Description

An Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that an organization's operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational policies and strategies that align with company goals.
  • Oversee daily operations of the company and coordinate across departments effectively.
  • Manage budgets, forecast financial needs, and monitor expenses within approved limits.
  • Analyze operational processes and identify areas for improvement and efficiency enhancement.
  • Liaise with senior management to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals.
  • Ensure staff adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Supervise and lead a team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction remains a priority.
  • Monitor and report on operational performance and suggest improvements as necessary.
  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business operations to ensure smooth progress.
  • Prepare operational reports and submit them to senior management for analysis and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders and build collaborative partnerships for business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an operations management or similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of operational principles and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills with proven team management experience.
  • Proficiency in using productivity software such as MS Office, CRM, and ERP systems.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to build consensus and effectively support business operations and objectives.
