Job Description

An Operations Manager is a pivotal figure in an organization responsible for overseeing the production of goods and services. This professional ensures that an organization is running efficiently and effectively by strategizing and implementing processes that enhance productivity and profitability. As the Operations Manager, you will be tasked with managing day-to-day operations, optimizing workflow, maintaining quality control, and managing financial processes. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with department heads to support strategic business goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, financial reports, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained across all operational activities.
  • Analyze operational processes and identify areas for cost reduction and improvement.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team to optimize their performance and skills.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
  • Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior management.
  • Implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Utilize technology to improve systems, processes, and service delivery.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues that may arise promptly and effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum five years of experience in operations management or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on strategic and innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record in managing budgets and financial planning activities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and operations management software tools.
