Job Description

An Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that the operations within an organization run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire operation process and ensure efficiency in all departments.
  • Develop and implement new operational policies and procedures for improvement.
  • Ensure that all company operations adhere to laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Coordinate with department heads to align and optimize operational efforts.
  • Monitor operational performance and make adjustments to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Prepare and manage operational budgets to maximize profitability and resource utilization.
  • Manage supply chain processes, from procurement to delivery, to ensure consistency.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the operational staff to enhance team performance.
  • Organize regular reviews of current systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with senior management to strategize on long-term planning and objectives.
  • Present operational reports and proposals to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
  • Ensure the safety of operations, maintaining compliance with occupational health standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role, minimum five years.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and management principles for operations.
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and effectively communicate financial data.
  • Proficient in using operational software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for team leadership and collaboration.
