INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking an Operations Lead to join our dynamic team in our Abu Dhabi office. This role is pivotal in advancing Process Automation Solutions across industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, and Renewable Energy. As an Operations Lead, you will drive the execution of PLC/DCS automation projects, ensuring technical excellence and seamless project delivery. At INTECH, you will contribute to groundbreaking projects, leveraging expertise in Integrated Control Systems, SCADA Virtualization, Wellhead Automation to drive operational excellence and innovation.

From virtualizing SCADA systems for satellite sites, pipeline networks, and digital oilfields to optimizing wellhead and upstream/downstream automation processes, INTECH’s solutions empower industries to streamline operations, enhance reliability, and achieve superior performance outcomes.

What You’ll Lead And Deliver

• Lead and manage project engineers, distributing tasks effectively and providing technical guidance for PLC/DCS projects.
• Regularly verify project activities for accuracy and integrity, providing progress updates to the project manager.
• Design DCS and/or PLC/HMI systems from scratch.
• Review and approve design documents and drawings with attention to detail.
• Program and configure DCS and PLC systems.
• Supervise the design of control panels, considering both electrical and mechanical aspects.
• Participate internal testing of DCS and PLC systems.
• Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and support the FAT setup process.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of site engineers and site services teams, ensuring that tasks are carried out efficiently and according to project requirements.
• Visit project sites as necessary to oversee progress, address any issues, and ensure that safety standards and timelines are being met.
• Manage site service visits and overall site service management to ensure smooth operation and timely issue resolution.
  
  

Requirements:

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Control Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas automation project execution. Practical experience with Honeywell, Rockwell, and Siemens based process control and safety systems.
• OEM/TUV certification is a plus as well as experience in the UAE market.
• Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate with multiple internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word for documentation and reporting.
• A valid driving license is required; UAE driving license is preferred.
