Main Purpose of Job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Analyst to support our global government services team in executing and coordinating port operations. The ideal candidate will bring a structured mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced maritime environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support port call execution for government and defence clients, ensuring accurate documentation and timely service delivery.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and global offices to ensure smooth handling of vessel operations.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, agents, and service providers via email and calls to clarify requirements and updates.
  • Monitor operations data and service logs for accuracy, escalating discrepancies when needed.
  • Assist in preparing reports, quotations, and financial reconciliations using Excel and internal systems.
  • Maintain and update operational trackers, port performance metrics, and vessel movement schedules.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in operations, logistics, maritime, or defence contracting.
  • Prior exposure to naval operations or working with Navy ships is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional and concise email etiquette is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across time zones with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Organised, dependable, and capable of prioritising under pressure.
  • Familiarity with documentation related to port services, customs, or government logistics is a plus.
