Overview Of The Role:

• The Online Merchandiser plays a pivotal role in driving sales and optimizing conversions through effective product discovery and navigation. This position requires managing all tradable touchpoints on the website, including taxonomy and visual merchandising, to enhance customer experience. A commercial mindset and strong data analysis skills are essential for identifying improvements in the customer journey. The role demands a good understanding of the product range and collaboration with various teams to maximize sales potentials.
  
  

What You Will Do:

Sales and Financial Targets

• Help achieve the financial target and margin through effective merchandising.
• Conduct monthly promotional planning to optimize stock levels and availability.
  
  

Digital Campaign Management

• Execute Merchandising CRM digital campaigns, catalogues, and homepage pushes to increase website traffic and sales.
• Guide the content/graphic team in selecting pushes/categories/products to feature.
  
  

Collaboration and Troubleshooting

• Work closely with the Buying team to ensure the full product catalog is available onsite and troubleshoot any issues.
• Conduct competitor mapping for product range and prices to enhance category assortment and pricing strategy.
  
  

Site Optimization

• Own and optimize the taxonomy, visual merchandising of all category and designer pages.
• Enhance cross sell/upsell opportunities through strategic product recommendations.
  
  

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Strong analytical skills for interpreting sales data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in ecommerce platforms and merchandising tools.
• Ability to develop and execute digital merchandising strategies.
  
  

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Graduate degree in a relevant field.
• 3 to 5 years of ecommerce merchandising experience.
• Proficiency in ecommerce site merchandising, data analysis, and IT skills.
• Strong understanding of ACE Hardwares product range and ecommerce strategy.
