Position Overview

The Online Merchandise Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s online product assortment to drive sales, improve customer experience, and align digital merchandising strategies with business goals. This role involves overseeing product listings, pricing, visual presentation, and promotional planning across online platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Product Management & Merchandising

    • Upload, update, and maintain product listings, images, descriptions, and attributes on the company’s e-commerce platform(s).

    • Ensure all online merchandise is accurately represented and consistent with brand standards.

    • Develop and implement digital merchandising strategies to highlight new arrivals, seasonal items, and promotions.

    • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to optimize category pages, product placement, and navigation for conversion.

  • Performance Optimization

    • Monitor product and category performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, etc.).

    • Adjust merchandising tactics based on data insights, customer behavior, and market trends.

    • Conduct A/B tests on product layouts, descriptions, and imagery to maximize conversion rates.

  • Inventory & Pricing Management

    • Coordinate with supply chain and inventory teams to ensure product availability online.

    • Assist in managing pricing strategies, markdowns, and promotional activities.

    • Regularly audit online product data to ensure accuracy in stock levels and pricing.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with the marketing team to support digital campaigns and product launches.

    • Partner with customer service to resolve online product-related issues or inquiries.

    • Support e-commerce operations, ensuring smooth order flow and on-site functionality.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or related field.

  • 1+ years of experience in online merchandising, e-commerce management, or digital retail.

  • experience using  Excel,  and other Microsoft package and reporting dashboards.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
