Job Description

As an Online Merchandiser, you will play a key role in enhancing the online shopping experience. Your primary focus will be to optimize product listings, manage inventory, and ensure that our digital storefront effectively showcases our merchandise. With a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of consumer behavior, you will collaborate with marketing, sales, and stock management teams to drive conversions and boost revenue. Comprehensive market research and analytics will guide your strategies, allowing you to curate product assortments that appeal to our target audience. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the presentation of our products across all digital platforms and channels.
  • Analyze sales data to develop effective merchandising strategies and action plans.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to coordinate promotional marketing efforts.
  • Ensure product descriptions, images, and details are accurate and up-to-date online.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with supply chain teams to prevent product shortages.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to assess shopping behaviors and optimize product placement.
  • Implement digital merchandising best practices to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to benchmark our online product offerings against industry leaders.
  • Manage the online product calendar, ensuring timely updates and seasonal promotions.
  • Coordinate with designers to create visually appealing online assortments and landing pages.
  • Assist customer service in resolving product-related inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare detailed reports on merchandising activities and their impact on sales performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in digital merchandising or related industry.
  • Proficient with e-commerce platforms, web analytics, and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong understanding of online consumer behaviors and trends in merchandising.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Adept at data analysis and turning insights into effective merchandising strategies.
  • Highly organized with effective time management and multitasking abilities.
