Job Description

As an Online Marketplace E-Commerce Executive, you will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of our digital sales channels. You will be responsible for managing our presence on various online marketplaces, ensuring the company's brand integrity, and optimizing product listings for maximum visibility and sales. This role requires a combination of marketing finesse, an analytical mind, and technical skills. You should have an excellent understanding of e-commerce platforms and marketplace dynamics. As a part of our dynamic e-commerce team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and customer service, to deliver an exceptional online shopping experience to our customers. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to meet business objectives and deliver on our customer promise.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth strategies for online marketplace sales channels effectively.
  • Optimize product listings with engaging content to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to align promotional activities with marketplace campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze sales trends to recommend actions for improvement and optimization.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure accurate stock levels and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Manage on-platform advertising campaigns to enhance product visibility and sales impact.
  • Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and maintain a positive seller performance rating.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and platform account managers for seamless operation.
  • Generate performance reports and metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies.
  • Keep up-to-date with e-commerce trends and competitors’ strategies to remain competitive.
  • Implement solutions for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency across marketplaces.
  • Provide training to junior team members on marketplace operations and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • At least three years of experience in e-commerce, preferably within digital marketplaces.
  • Proficiency in using various online marketplace platforms like Amazon, eBay, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage market data effectively.
  • Excellent project management skills, including managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business environments and marketplace dynamics.
