To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who can build and maintain strong working relationships across all levels and has excellent leadership and time management skills in order to prioritise their work schedules. What you will do:
In this role, you will:
Manage medium to large Operations Excellence projects in line with project management methodology to ensure successful delivery across New Zealand.
Oversee the implementation of Operations Excellence programmes, including the Operations Management System (OMS), OMS Data Management Systems, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Lead the overall planning, control, stability, and delivery of assigned Continuous Improvement projects.
Develop detailed implementation plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports to meet internal and external customer expectations.
Oversee training on performance‑tracking tools and ensure effective skills transfer to operational teams.
Define, analyse, and map end‑to‑end processes in preparation for performance tracking tools, and lead these processes through implementation.
Manage project budgets and ongoing financial reporting for assigned initiatives.
Gather feedback from senior stakeholders and actively manage stakeholder relationships across the business.
Build and lead high‑performing delivery teams, fostering strong engagement and collaboration.
What you will bring:
We’re looking for someone with:
Outstanding ability to influence behaviour and champion continuous improvement programs
3-5 years’ experience in the supply chain industry preferred.
3-5 years’ experience in a project management or process improvement role.
Professional project management or process improvement certification preferred.
Relevant University qualification e.g. Commerce or Supply Chain degree.
Outstanding communication skills - both verbal and written.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Positive ‘can-do’ attitude
