Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Officer – Finance Payables to join our finance department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing all invoices and payments for the company. You will ensure that transactions are conducted accurately, efficiently, and comply with the company's financial policies and procedures. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance or accounting, possess excellent analytical skills, and demonstrate proficiency in financial software. You will contribute to maintaining the company's financial integrity by ensuring all financial transactions are documented and processed in a timely manner. Responsibilities

  • Review and verify all incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Process payments to vendors and service providers according to company policy.
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to invoices.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain vendor files and create effective communication with suppliers.
  • Assist in month-end closing by preparing necessary reports and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with company’s financial policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide assistance and support during audits with accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to manage purchase orders and payments.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed financial transaction reports for management review.
  • Support the finance team in various projects and financial analysis tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in finance or payables roles in a similar capacity.
  • Strong proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and standards, including taxation rules.
