Job Summary

IIQAF Group is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and patient-focused Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care by assisting registered nurses and physicians with daily clinical activities, supporting patient mobility, monitoring vital signs, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring a safe, comfortable, and hygienic healthcare environment.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience as a Nursing Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Healthcare Assistant, Patient Care Assistant, Clinical Assistant, Ward Assistant, Hospital Assistant, Caregiver, Nursing Aide, or Patient Support Assistant in hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, or long-term care facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist registered nurses and physicians in delivering safe, compassionate, and effective patient care.
  • Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and personal hygiene.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, oxygen saturation, height, and weight.
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and transportation within the hospital.
  • Help patients with mobility, positioning, ambulation, and rehabilitation exercises.
  • Prepare examination rooms, patient beds, and medical equipment before procedures.
  • Collect non-invasive patient specimens as directed and assist during diagnostic procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient care documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and hospital information systems.
  • Observe patients' physical and emotional conditions and promptly report changes to nursing staff.
  • Maintain infection prevention and control standards while following hospital safety protocols.
  • Sterilize medical equipment and maintain cleanliness in patient care areas.
  • Provide emotional support and excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient confidentiality requirements, and healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or certification in Nursing Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Patient Care Assistant, or a related healthcare field.
  • Valid healthcare certification or eligibility for licensing in the UAE is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Healthcare Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Ward Assistant, Clinical Assistant, Hospital Assistant, or Caregiver is highly preferred.
  • Experience in hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, home healthcare, or long-term care facilities is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of patient care techniques, infection control, medical terminology, and hospital procedures.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), and patient documentation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Compassionate attitude with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, nights, and public holidays.
  • Physical ability to assist patients with lifting, moving, and mobility support.
