Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled L2 Network Infrastructure Support Engineer with hands-on experience in Routing, Switching, Firewall management, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance across LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 support for incidents and service requests related to network infrastructure.
• Monitor and manage enterprise LAN/WAN environments, including routing and switching devices.
• Perform configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
• Support and troubleshoot enterprise Wi-Fi networks, including access points and wireless controllers.
• Collaborate with Level 1 and Level 3 teams for escalations and advanced troubleshooting.
• Perform routine maintenance, patching, and updates of network equipment.
• Assist in implementing new network solutions and improving the efficiency of current networks.
• Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configuration guides.
• Maintain compliance with network security policies and ensure access controls are enforced.
• Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and DR drills.
  
  

• 5 years of hands-on experience in network support or administration.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLAN, STP, EtherChannel).
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting firewalls (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
• Good understanding of Wi-Fi technologies (802.11 standards, wireless controllers, authentication).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
• Ability to interpret logs, conduct packet captures, and perform root cause analysis.
• Basic knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
  
  

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud networking (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
• Scripting experience in Python or PowerShell is an added advantage.
• Experience with SD-WAN solutions is a plus.
