As the National Careers Manager, you will guide and empower Emiratization (UAEN) students and trainees in aligning their career goals with the Emirates Group’s future workforce needs. You will focus on personalised career counselling, identifying high-potential talent, and bridging academic achievements with industry demands. This role will also provide tailored guidance, in collaboration with the Strategy team, to support a smooth transition from education into meaningful employment.
In This Role, You Will
Deliver assessments and reporting on early talent attraction channels, identifying key outreach sources, trends, and pipeline gaps, and escalating insights to the Strategy & Careers teams.
Provide tailored career advice to UAEN students and trainees through one-on-one and group sessions, helping them understand career pathways within the Emirates Group and prepare for future opportunities.
Oversee the design and launch of structured career frameworks that guide students and trainees from education/learning to employment, in collaboration with Learning & Talent (L&T), Recruitment, and the business.
Connect and recommend students and trainees, in collaboration with Recruitment, to relevant Emiratisation programmes such as internships, scholarships, and summer programmes that align with their skills and the Emirates Group’s workforce needs.
Develop and manage career resources, toolkits, and workshops in collaboration with L&T to support student and trainee career readiness, professional growth, and transition into the workplace.
Maintain strong relationships with educational providers and represent the Emirates Group at career events, in collaboration with Recruitment and the National Talent Awareness Team, to attract top talent for future business needs.
Qualification
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
8+ years’ experience in Human Resources, Recruitment & Selection
Bachelor’s Degree in Career Counselling, Human Resources, Education, or related field
Experience in career advising, talent acquisition, or student development
Youll Have An Edge If You Have
A deep understanding of Emiratization government strategies, higher education systems, and student career services.
Strong career advising, coaching capabilities, and familiarity with recognised career development frameworks and tools.
Experience in talent identification and headhunting, with the ability to map opportunities strategically.
Knowledge of psychometric or career assessment tools, academic advising systems, or career tracking platforms.
Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate insights into impactful career guidance and workforce alignment initiatives.
