Nail Technician

We are looking for an experienced Nail Technician who specialises in Russian manicure techniques and is passionate about precision, client care and creating flawless results.

The Nail Technician will be responsible for providing high-quality nail services, with a particular focus on Russian manicures, detailed cuticle work and long-lasting gel finishes.

The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety and client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional Russian manicures using advanced dry or e-file techniques.
• Perform precise cuticle preparation and removal while maintaining client safety and nail health.
• Provide a range of nail services, including Russian manicures
• Assess the condition of clients’ nails and recommend suitable treatments and aftercare.
• Create clean, structured and long-lasting nail finishes.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are sterilised and disinfected in line with company and local authority standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised and fully stocked workstation.
• Deliver consultations to understand client preferences, expectations and any sensitivities or concerns.
• Provide a warm, professional and personalised client experience.
• Educate clients on nail care, maintenance and recommended products.
• Maintain accurate client notes and treatment records where required.
• Manage appointment timings effectively without compromising service quality.
• Support retail sales by recommending appropriate nail care and aftercare products.
• Contribute towards individual and store sales targets.
• Build strong client relationships and encourage repeat bookings.
• Attend training sessions, team meetings and performance reviews.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive, respectful and professional salon environment.
• Follow all Brau policies, procedures, grooming standards and client service expectations.
  
  

• Minimum of two years’ professional experience as a Nail Technician.
• Proven experience specialising in Russian manicures.
• Strong knowledge of nail anatomy, nail health and safe product application.
• Experience working with gel polish, BIAB, builder gel and structured manicures.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce neat, precise results.
• Strong understanding of hygiene, sterilisation and infection-control procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, premium salon environment.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Confident recommending treatments, products and future appointments.
• Ability to work as part of a team while managing an individual client schedule.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays where required.
