Multimedia Editor Arabian Business

Arabian Business, the leading source of business, economic, and financial news in the Middle East, is seeking an innovative, energetic, and highly skilled Multimedia Editor to revolutionise our visual and audio storytelling. Based in ITP Media Group’s Media City HQ in Dubai, this role requires a unique individual who is equally exceptional behind the camera as a technical producer, and in front of it as a compelling journalist.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of taking complete ownership of multimedia concepts, from initial ideation to final edit. You will oversee our podcast studio, produce premium digital video content, and act as an on-camera personality. Your primary KPI will be driving brand reach forward, expanding our digital footprint, and aggressively growing the Arabian Business YouTube presence.

Responsibilities

• Pitch, script, shoot, edit, and deliver premium multimedia content that aligns with the high standards of the Arabian Business brand.
• Fully operate, record, and engineer the Arabian Business podcast, executing high-quality audio.
• Attend high-profile internal and external live events, identifying key moments with sharp news judgment to film, edit, and package social-first video clips at high speed.
• Host on-camera interviews and bring to life engaging video reporting with regional business leaders.
• Develop and execute a strategy for the Arabian Business YouTube channel, focusing on growth.
• Transform complex investigative text features into highly shareable, mobile-first vertical video assets (Reels, long-form video) and audio snippets.
• Ensure all visual and audio outputs meet local regulatory guidelines, legal compliance, and internal brand visual standards.
  
  

• Proven experience as a multimedia journalist, video producer, or digital content creator within a fast-paced newsroom.
• Advanced technical proficiency with filming equipment (DSLRs, lighting, audio rigs) and professional editing suites (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, Audition).
• Strong on-camera presence, articulation, and journalistic interviewing skills.
• Deep understanding of social video algorithms, YouTube analytics, and audience growth mechanics.
• Ability to turn dense financial or corporate subject matter into highly visual, accessible, and cinematic digital narratives.
• Exceptional organisational skills to balance long-form longer term projects with the demands of instant daily breaking news outputs.
• Candidates must have a strong understanding of domestic and regional media law, and international press ethics.
