Motion Graphic Lead

The Motion Graphic Lead will be responsible for overseeing the creation of dynamic and visually engaging motion graphics projects. This role will involve collaborating with a creative team to concept, design, and produce a variety of animated content for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, and other platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in motion graphics, animation, and visual effects, along with expertise in software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator. The Motion Graphic Lead will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior designers, ensuring that projects are completed on time and in line with the company's brand aesthetics. Strong communication and project management skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the motion graphics team in conceptualizing, storyboarding, and creating high-quality animated content according to client briefs.
• Set the creative direction for motion projects and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with the creative director and other team members to ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all motion graphics projects.
• Manage and mentor a team of motion graphic artists, providing feedback, guidance, and support to help them develop their skills.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in motion graphics to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of projects.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide creative solutions that meet their objectives.
• Oversee the production process from concept to final delivery, ensuring that deadlines are met and the quality of work meets client expectations.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as design, video production, and marketing, to integrate motion graphics seamlessly into larger projects.
• Maintain a strong attention to detail and ensure that all motion graphics projects are delivered with the highest level of accuracy and professionalism.
• Continuously evaluate and improve workflows and processes to increase efficiency and productivity within the motion graphics team.

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Animation, or related field.
• Proficiency in industry standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in motion graphics and animation.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Previous experience leading a team of motion graphic designers and collaborating with other creative professionals.
