[ABOUT THE ROLE]
A mixing engineer is required for a personal music or audio project. The role involves delivering a professional-quality mix that enhances clarity, balance, and overall sound. This is a remote position, and applicants should be able to work independently while maintaining strong communication to ensure the final product meets expectations.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a mixing engineer with a portfolio of previous work
- Proficiency in industry-standard digital audio workstations (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase)
- Strong understanding of EQ, compression, reverb, and other mixing techniques to achieve a polished sound
- Ability to deliver mixes suitable for streaming and distribution
- Attention to detail and an ear for balance across different instruments and vocal layers
- Reliable communication skills to discuss revisions and project needs
- Remote work is acceptable
