Job Description

The Middle Office Reporting and Data Analyst role is pivotal to ensuring that our organization's financial transactions are accurately captured, processed, and reported. This role works at the intersection of finance, operations, and technology, facilitating effective communication and analysis of key data metrics to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in data management, and extensive experience with reporting tools. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial data reporting systems and tools.
  • Analyze market and trading data to identify patterns and trends.
  • Collaborate with front and back office teams to reconcile data discrepancies.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in all financial reporting efforts.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of automated reporting solutions.
  • Provide timely support in data extraction and analysis for decision-makers.
  • Monitor and maintain the integrity of the financial data warehouse systems.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to improve reporting practices.
  • Train and mentor junior analysts in financial analysis and data modeling.
  • Develop ad-hoc reports based on senior management and team requirements.
  • Coordinate with IT for system upgrades and data reporting enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven experience in financial data analysis and reporting roles.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Experience working with trading platforms and financial data systems.
  • Understanding of financial markets and instruments is highly desirable.
