Mgr Commerical Optimization And Transportation

The Mgr Commercial Optimization & Transportation is responsible for managing a team of transportation representatives, optimizing transmission and storage assets to support, develop and implement controls to optimize utilization of services and technologies in an effort to increase revenue and manage risk. Responsibilities/Expectations:

• Supports, develops and implements sophisticated analytics to better predict customer activities and utilization of services along with market analysis
• Leads collaboration with pipeline control and operations teams to ensure alignment of priorities
• Manages a team of transportation representatives responsible for nominations, allocations, confirmations and balancing of gas flow volumes across the system
• Manages team of schedulers on daily operations as well as commercial optimization to support reliable service and asset optimization
• Collaborates with internal partners to establish and continuously improve scheduling and associated business processes
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Education/Years of Experience:

• Required: Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Accounting, Technology, or related field and a minimum of eight (8) years of energy industry
• Preferred: Masters Degree in Business, Engineering, Accounting, Technology, or related field and ten (10) years of energy industry

• Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
• Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
• Experience in negotiating commercial documents and agreements as well as established commercial contacts at appropriate levels throughout the industry
• Experience leading project teams across multiple disciplines focused on commercial operations
• Extensive knowledge of business needs and challenges of our customers and in-depth understanding of commercial systems
  
  

, This role is responsible for managing a team of Transportation Reps and physical optimization of Eastern Interstates geographic footprint within the market areas. Manages a team of Reps responsible for nominations, allocations, confirmations and balancing of gas flow volumes across the system. Supervises daily operations of gas scheduling team handling multiple customer relationships, counterparty deals, storage positions, and tariffs. Responsible for ensuring business coverage, recruitment, development and training of staff, may manage cross functional stand alone projects. Ensure teams accuracy and availability/timeliness. Responsible for optimizing Eastern Interstates transmission and storage assets which includes coordinating with the Pipeline Control, Operations, and Commercial organizations to support, develop and implement controls to optimize utilization of services in an effort to increase revenue and manage risk. This role will also lead Commercial collaboration with Commercial Technologies to develop and drive utilization of technologies to support data driven decisions.
