We’re looking for a Merchant Relationship Manager to build and manage a strong network of merchant partners across categories such as dining, retail, wellness, travel, and entertainment. This role focuses on expanding our merchant portfolio while ensuring partnerships are aligned with client requirements.
You’ll work closely with merchants and clients to drive adoption, improve offer quality, and maintain long-term relationships. The role sits within the Merchant Relationship Management team and plays a key part in delivering consistent value across our programs.
What You’ll Do
Merchant Acquisition & Onboarding
Generate leads and build a pipeline of potential merchant partners
Conduct outreach to onboard new merchants across relevant categories
Negotiate discount structures and offers aligned with client requirements
Establish and maintain long-term merchant partnerships
Coordinate onboarding and ensure smooth integration of new merchants
Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for merchants and clients
Build and maintain strong relationships to support retention and satisfaction
Review merchant performance and share updates with stakeholders
Prepare and communicate regular reports to internal and external teams
Market & Competitor Awareness
Track market trends and competitor activity across relevant categories
Share insights with internal teams to improve merchant offerings
Operational Support & Compliance
Ensure merchants meet business and regulatory requirements
Resolve issues and manage escalations with a focus on continuity and service quality
What We’re Looking For
Hold a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
Bring experience in loyalty, banking, or financial services environments
Demonstrate strong understanding of merchant acquisition across dining, retail, wellness, travel, or entertainment
Communicate clearly and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
Negotiate effectively to align merchant offers with client needs
Work independently and manage priorities across multiple initiatives
Nice to Have
Exposure to loyalty program management
Experience working with international or cross-cultural teams
