The MEP Supervisor is a crucial role within the construction and facilities management sectors, responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This position ensures the seamless integration and functionality of these systems across commercial and residential buildings. The MEP Supervisor works closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects meet design specifications and legal compliance, while also managing a team of skilled tradespeople. Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Coordinate with project managers and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Monitor project progress and provide detailed reports on a regular basis.
• Manage and supervise a team of skilled tradespeople on-site.
• Ensure all MEP works are compliant with both design and legal requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections to uphold high-quality standards in all MEP installations.
• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in system designs or installations.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Oversee procurement and ensure materials are utilized efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and team members.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to deliver project updates.
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes impacting MEP disciplines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as an MEP Supervisor or similar supervisory role in construction.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with construction practices, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Outstanding leadership abilities and experience in managing a team of professionals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project issues.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and stakeholder interaction.
