As an MEP Project Engineer, your role is crucial in the coordination and management of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all MEP components are designed, installed, and maintained correctly throughout the life cycle of construction projects. You will coordinate with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to deliver efficient and sustainable projects. Your attention to detail and strong project management skills will drive the seamless integration of MEP systems, ensuring they meet the required performance, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This role requires a thorough understanding of MEP systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the MEP design, engineering, and installation processes for construction projects.
• Review and evaluate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Manage project schedules, ensuring MEP tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure effective project communication.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the project life cycle.
• Perform quality control and inspections to verify MEP systems' performance and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the installation phase.
• Prepare and deliver project reports to management and clients, highlighting the progress and milestones.
• Ensure that project documentation is maintained and updated throughout the project duration.
• Supervise commissioning and startup processes for MEP systems and equipment.
• Continuously enhance project management processes and tools specific to MEP projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant local codes, regulations, and safety standards at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
• At least five years of experience in MEP engineering or project management.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, design principles, and building codes.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in using project management and CAD software tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate project coordination.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
