Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of all MEP systems and possess a strong ability to implement and oversee these systems across a range of projects. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, an ability to work collaboratively, and a strong commitment to client service and satisfaction. As an MEP Engineer, you will be involved in every phase of the project life cycle, from planning and design to construction and maintenance. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all systems are engineered efficiently and meet the highest standards of quality and safety.


Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems tailored to project specifications.
  • Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines for project alignment.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
  • Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications of systems.
  • Manage and oversee the continuous progress of MEP projects within the timeline.
  • Ensure all installations, modifications, and construction activities meet regulations.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise and solutions.
  • Identify potential design conflicts and solve them promptly and effectively.
  • Prepare and review all engineering documents, reports, and submittals regularly.
  • Develop cost estimates, project budgets, and relevant financial documentation.
  • Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and address their concerns.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and encourage continuous professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in an MEP engineering role or similar capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems including their design and implementation.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
