MEP Draftsman

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings and layouts. Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare detailed MEP construction drawings using CAD software.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure coherent design integration.
• Review project specifications to understand scope, materials, and project timeline.
• Produce detailed layouts and schematics adhering to industry standards and codes.
• Assist in resolving MEP design conflicts and clarifying project requirements.
• Coordinate with various departments to collect precise project data and information.
• Maintain and organize CAD files for easy retrieval and reference by the team.
• Conduct field visits to gather accurate site measurements and project updates.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions into drawings to ensure project compliance.
• Support project managers in delivering projects on time and within budget limits.
• Participate in design coordination meetings for effective project collaboration.
• Stay updated on the latest MEP drafting techniques and technological advancements.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field required.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in MEP drafting or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit is essential.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, building codes, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication skills to convey ideas and interact with team members.
• Attention to detail with a strong aptitude for producing accurate drawings.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
