MEP BIM Coordinator

Were recruiting a MEP BIM Coordinator for one of our clients, a reliable construction company based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models for MEP systems using Revit and other BIM tools
  
• Coordinate MEP designs with architectural, structural, and civil disciplines
  
• Ensure clash detection and resolution using Navisworks and other coordination tools
  
• Work closely with Project/ Construction/ BIM/ MEP managers, engineers, and contractors to facilitate smooth BIM integration
  
• Maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflows for MEP systems
  
• Conduct BIM model audits, quality checks, and compliance reviews
  
• Create digital simulations of onsite workflows and construction sequences
  
• Support coordination meetings and assist in resolving interdisciplinary clashes
  
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering field
  
• MEP experience – 5 years+ with BIM Coordinator experience (4–5 years in UAE building construction)
  
• Should be able to coordinate BIM Modelers (who are working remotely), subcontractors of different disciplines, and consultants when required
  
• Expertise in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and ACC
  
• Strong knowledge of clash detection, MEP coordination, and construction documentation
  
• Familiarity with MEP codes, standards, and best practices
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  
• Strong understanding of BIM standards and workflows
