Job Description

As a Medical Sales Representative (12M26), you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare services. Your primary responsibility will be to establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships. You will be tasked with presenting new medical products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, and other medical establishments. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of the products you will be promoting, the capacity to communicate complex medical topics clearly, and the ability to strategize and manage effective sales plans. You will also be responsible for meeting sales targets, analyzing market trends, and aligning sales strategies. Success in this position requires a proactive approach, in-depth knowledge of the healthcare market, and excellent negotiation skills to ensure your products are the go-to choice for healthcare providers.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate effectively with medical professionals about product specifications and benefits.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for healthcare professionals on product usage and updates.
  • Attend and participate in medical conferences, workshops, and events to network effectively.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts based on customer needs and market trends.
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential and provide input for strategic planning to management.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits for the organization.
  • Provide feedback and support to marketing strategies to boost product awareness.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, new developments, and competitor activities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to plan and execute effective sales plans and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations in all transactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a Medical Sales Representative or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Strong understanding of the medical and pharmaceutical market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to travel frequently for client visits and business development purposes.
  • Capacity to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and the ability to manage important sales data.
