Job Description

A Medical Representative plays a crucial role in the healthcare sector, acting as the link between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities

  • Present and promote pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals and institutions.

  • Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations to educate practitioners about product advantages.
  • Arrange appointments with healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital medical teams.
  • Attend conferences, medical meetings, and industry events to network and expand knowledge.
  • Consistently achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the scheduled timeline.
  • Provide feedback from the market to the management for new product development ideas.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations while conducting professional responsibilities.
  • Compile and analyze sales figures to report back to the management on regular intervals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrated success in medical sales or a similar role within the industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Ability to understand and convey complex medical and technical information clearly.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in previous positions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills to manage schedules efficiently.
