Job Description
Together with other Regional Medical Leads and Medical Scientific Managers in the countries, position holder will be liaison towards Global Medical Affairs Team, regional colleagues and external experts to advance Regional Medical Strategy for lipidology. This individual will drive Medical strategy encompassing pre-launch Disease Awareness, Key Opinion Leader management, Medical Education, Publications, Training and Real World Data projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead KOL mapping, planning, engagement and execution with relevant maintenance in customer relationship management system (CRM) in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner
Generate key medical insights from KOLs/HCPs externally and affiliates internally and integrate into regional medical strategies or tactics
Lead effective and compliant data dissemination, interpretation and generation according to regional publication plan and regional medical affairs plan, including regional advisory boards, publications, training/educational projects and data generation activities
Provide scientific input and participate in local, regional and global medical and cross-functional projects driving disease awareness and medical programs in lipidology
Lead training of defined internal stakeholder groups and knowledge sharing based on emerging data in publications and congresses of assigned therapeutic area
Lead Congress planning on regional level with respect to KOL Engagement execution and follow up
Develop and update knowledge of applicable pharmaceutical guidelines and regulations, Code of Ethical Practices and company policies
Lead local affiliates Medical Scientific Managers on the basis direct reporting line or dotted line professional relationships
Qualifications
University degree such as M.D., Pharm. D., or PhD with biological sciences background. Academic, clinical or industry experience in therapeutic areas such as lipidology, cardiovascular, endocrinology or gastroenterology and Medical Doctor background is a strong plus.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in medical affairs at a local and cluster level, alternatively from a local level rare disease pharmaceutical environment from larger country.
Strong scientific/medical reading, presentation and communication skills;
Experience in both pre-launch and launch activities
Existing engagement with KOL network in local country and/or internationally;
Multi-stakeholder project management and leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to deliver results on time and within budget;
Strong project management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and other Microsoft Office programmes
Proficiency in English and one of Central European languages
Working knowledge of EFPIA regulations and compliance requirements with demonstration of highest ethical standards
