We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technologist - Level 1 to join our esteemed medical team. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory procedures with high accuracy and precision.
• Prepare lab specimens as per standard operating procedures before conducting tests.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain complex laboratory equipment and instruments daily.
• Analyze laboratory results and convey findings to the relevant medical staff for review.
• Ensure compliance with all good laboratory practices and safety regulations at all times.
• Communicate effectively with clinicians and other healthcare team members about lab results.
• Maintain meticulous records of lab work and ensure all data entry is accurate and timely.
• Assist in developing new laboratory procedures and improving current testing methods.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Stay informed of current scientific laboratory advances and integrate new knowledge into practice.
• Collaborate with peers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Educate and mentor junior staff and trainees, ensuring consistent laboratory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related scientific field.
• Certification and licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technologist as required by law.
• Proven experience in a clinical laboratory setting with a focus on diagnostics.
• Strong working knowledge of laboratory equipment, technology, and safety protocols.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail in work practices.
• Ability to analyze complex information and effectively communicate findings clearly.
