Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Health Information Management or a related field required.
  • Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent mandatory.
  • At least two years of experience in outpatient medical coding preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in using medical coding software and electronic health record systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high coding accuracy.
