Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Media Buyer to join our team and lead the charge in developing impactful media buying strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the digital media landscape, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record in managing large-scale media buying campaigns that drive results. As a Media Buyer, you will collaborate closely with our marketing, creative, and sales teams to identify opportunities for optimising advertising spend and improving ROI. You will also manage relationships with media partners, negotiate rates, and continually assess the performance of media buys to ensure campaigns are executed efficiently. This role requires a candidate who is innovative, strategic, and passionate about media buying and advertising in the digital age.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic media buying plans across multiple platforms to maximize ROI.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify optimal media platform opportunities.
  • Negotiate and purchase advertising space with media vendors for the best possible deals.
  • Monitor and adjust media buying strategies based on performance analytics and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Manage budgets and forecast media spends accurately to maintain financial efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with media partners and vendors.
  • Prepare detailed media plans and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to continuously improve media buying strategies.
  • Use data-driven insights to suggest new platforms and strategies, enhancing campaign effectiveness.
  • Ensure all media buys comply with legal requirements and brand safety guidelines.
  • Provide post-campaign analysis and reports, and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in media buying or similar field preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing and optimising large-scale digital campaigns successfully.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with familiarity in various media buying tools and platforms.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a history of effective vendor management.
  • Ability to manage budgets efficiently and forecast future media buys accurately.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the digital media landscape.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
