Job Description

The role of a Financial Controller is vital for the efficient and effective management of a company's finances. As a Financial Controller, you will ensure that the financial strategies and operations align with the organization's goals. You will oversee the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with all regulatory requirements, and effective risk management practices. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization efficiently.
  • Ensure the preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements monthly.
  • Develop financial strategies to align with organizational objectives and goals.
  • Maintain strict adherence to auditing and regulatory requirements nationwide.
  • Implement and monitor financial controls to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Lead the budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with management to drive effective financial planning initiatives.
  • Assess financial data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights regularly.
  • Manage and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals adeptly.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting required by law.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance financial transparency and efficiency.
  • Ensure timely financial closing processes, including monthly and annual closing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is essential.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations is required.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail are necessary.
