Job Summary

The Mechanical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems. The role requires strong technical knowledge, cost analysis capability, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.

Perform quantity take-offs for HVAC, chilled water piping, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.

Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, and pricing analysis.

Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.

Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.

Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams during bid preparation.

Support post-award handover to execution team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree Mechanical Engineering.

7-8 years of experience in mechanical estimation within MEP projects.

Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel.

Good analytical and commercial awareness.
