Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Estimator to join our team. The Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for analyzing mechanical drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for mechanical construction projects.

Job Responsibility

• Reviewing mechanical project drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Analyzing labor, material, and time requirements to accurately estimate project costs.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure all requirements are met.
• Analyzing project risks and potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Presenting and explaining cost estimates to clients and key stakeholders.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and materials.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  
  

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Knowledge of relevant software for estimation and cost analysis
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience in estimating materials, labor, and equipment costs for mechanical projects
• Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, suppliers, and team members
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical estimation
• Problem-solving skills to address challenges in the estimation process
