Job Description

Responsibilities

Monitor the installation of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
Review contractor mechanical shop drawings, submittals and method statements
Conduct site inspections and witness testing of mechanical installations and equipment
Identify and record mechanical non-conformances, coordinating corrective actions with the contractor
Coordinate with design teams to resolve mechanical technical queries and site-related issues
Support the review of contractor claims and variations relating to mechanical works
Prepare mechanical progress reports and inspection records
Support testing, commissioning and handover activities for mechanical systems

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in mechanical site supervision or engineering within construction
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and fire-fighting design and installation standards
Experience reviewing mechanical shop drawings, submittals and method statements
KSA experience preferred
