Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer for the 19N40 designation, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, tasked with designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems. Your role focuses on applying engineering principles to develop efficient solutions to complex challenges, ensuring that our mechanical systems meet high-quality standards. You will collaborate with other engineers and technicians in multi-disciplinary projects, utilizing both innovative techniques and tried-and-true methodologies. Problem-solving, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of mechanical principles are critical as you work to optimize our systems. Whether it’s ensuring the reliability of existing systems or bringing new projects from conception to completion, your contributions will be key to our success in delivering top-notch mechanical solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical components and systems to meet specific engineering requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret complex technical data and engineering specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engineering solutions.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software for system modeling and simulations.
  • Conduct prototype testing and evaluate design performance under variable conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all projects.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mechanical equipment issues.
  • Evaluate and improve system reliability, durability, and efficiency.
  • Assist with the planning and management of project timelines and budgets.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, plans, and project specifications.
  • Stay updated with emerging industry technologies and engineering advancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in mechanical system design and analysis.
  • Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex engineering contexts.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying technical information effectively.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations is required.
  • Ability to work well in team-oriented and fast-paced project environments.
