As a Mechanical Draftsman, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of mechanical systems and components. By collaborating with engineers and other team members, you will ensure that all designs meet technical specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical designs, drawings, and blueprints using CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand design specifications and project requirements.
• Revise and update existing technical drawings as necessary to meet project needs.
• Ensure that all mechanical designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct quality checks on initial designs to identify errors or improvements.
• Maintain an organized database of all technical drawings and related documents.
• Create schematics for mechanical part assemblies showing dimensions and clearances.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to resolve any issues with drawings.
• Provide technical support during the construction and manufacturing stages.
• Assist in the preparation of manuals and other technical documents.
• Stay updated with the latest CAD software tools and industry trends.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure deadlines and project goals are met.

Requirements

• Associate degree or certification in Mechanical Drafting or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
• Minimum of two years of experience in mechanical drafting or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineers and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
