Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate mechanical BIM models for diverse construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate mechanical systems designs.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts within BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards during model production.
• Assist in the preparation of detailed construction documents from BIM models.
• Provide technical support to project teams for BIM-related queries and issues.
• Coordinate with construction managers to ensure model deliverables meet project timelines.
• Review and analyze project specifications to inform model design decisions.
• Update and maintain BIM databases to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Perform quality assurance checks on BIM models to maintain high standards.
• Participate in project meetings to provide insights on the modeling process.
• Train and mentor junior BIM modelers in advanced modeling techniques and practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, or similar tools.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical BIM modeling and coordination.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing designs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in model development.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards relevant to mechanical systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with project teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines effectively.
