MCV Draftsman 13N25

As an MCV Draftsman, you will be integral to our design and engineering team, specializing in crafting detailed technical drawings and plans for mechanical, civil, and electrical projects. These documents will serve as the blueprint for construction and manufacturing projects. You'll work closely with engineers and architects, translating their ideas and specifications into precise models using state-of-the-art computer-aided design (CAD) software. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical as your work supports the entire development lifecycle, from design to execution. Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical diagrams and blueprints for construction and manufacturing projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project specifications fully.
• Utilize CAD software to develop clear and precise technical drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Revise drawings based on project changes and updates from the engineering team.
• Maintain organized documentation for all drafting projects to streamline workflow.
• Work closely with project managers to meet deadlines and project milestones.
• Interpret complex technical data and translate it into practical designs.
• Conduct field visits to understand the practical application of designs.
• Provide input and suggestions to improve design processes and efficiencies.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure designs are manufacturable.
• Assist in training junior draftsmen in best practices and software use.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical, civil, or electrical drafting using CAD software.
• Strong understanding of design principles, specifications, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to interpret technical data and visualize complex components in 2D/3D.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on producing accurate work.
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software is considered an advantage.
