Position Overview

We are seeking an outstanding High School Mathematics Teacher to join our exceptional team with an immediate start. The successful candidate will inspire curiosity, foster a passion for scientific enquiry and contribute to the continued success of one of the UAE's leading international schools.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive Mathematics lessons to high school students, following the school's curriculum and educational standards.
• Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire a love for Mathematics and foster critical thinking skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Ensure continuity in the delivery of curriculum content.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment opportunities and professional learning.
  
  

Skills Description

Successful Candidate

• Hold a Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree together with a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, State License, or equivalent specialising in Mathematics.
• Have proven experience teaching IB Math or Common Core Math at High School level, ideally within an American or IB curriculum school.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and practical Math instruction.
• Be an excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Show a commitment to continually improve their practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for their students.
