Job Description
The Mason is responsible for carrying out masonry and civil maintenance works within the hotel to ensure buildings, guest areas, and back-of-house facilities are safe, functional, and well maintained. Duties include block work, plastering, tiling, grouting, brickwork, concrete repairs, and minor civil works as required. The role involves repairing walls, floors, bathrooms, pavements, and external areas, ensuring quality workmanship and proper finishing.
The Mason follows safety procedures, uses tools and materials correctly, coordinates with the Engineering team for scheduled and emergency repairs, and reports any structural defects or safety hazards. Flexibility in working hours, adherence to hotel standards, and compliance with health and safety regulations are essential.
