Job Description

The Marketplace Specialist is responsible for owning the end-to-end performance, operations, and commercial success of the company's products across third-party online marketplaces. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, optimizing marketplace operations, maximizing profitability, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience through data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, and continuous marketplace optimization.

Main Responsibilities

Marketplace Strategy & Performance

Own the end-to-end performance of third-party marketplaces, driving revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence aligned with business objectives.

Marketplace Operations

Manage daily marketplace operations including product listings, order management, fulfillment coordination, returns, and customer experience.

Product Listing Optimization

Create, optimize, and continuously improve product listings, including content, product descriptions, images, keywords, categorization, and merchandising to maximize visibility and conversion.

Commercial Performance Management

Monitor and analyze marketplace performance through key metrics including sales, traffic, conversion rates, operational KPIs, and customer satisfaction, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Profitability & Pricing Management

Own marketplace P&L by managing pricing strategies, promotions, marketplace fees, margins, and profitability while identifying opportunities to improve financial performance.

Market & Competitor Analysis

Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to identify product opportunities, pricing trends, customer demand, and competitive positioning.

Product Portfolio Optimization

Evaluate product performance to optimize assortment, scale high-performing products, improve underperforming listings, and recommend product expansion opportunities.

Campaign & Promotional Management

Plan, execute, and monitor promotional campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and marketplace marketing activities to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Inventory & Supply Coordination

Partner with internal teams to maintain inventory accuracy, optimize stock availability, improve sell-through rates, and minimize stock-outs and overstock situations.

Brand Compliance & Customer Experience

Ensure brand consistency, marketplace compliance, content quality, and a seamless customer experience across all marketplace touchpoints.

Performance Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Prepare regular business performance reports with data-driven recommendations, identify operational inefficiencies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

Highest Academic/Vocational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.

Relevant Work Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing third-party marketplaces or e-commerce channels.
  • Proven hands-on experience in end-to-end marketplace operations, commercial performance management, and product listing optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience managing marketplace profitability, pricing strategies, promotions, and performance analytics.

Language Spoken

  • Fluent in English (mandatory)
