Harrow International School Dubai, part of the prestigious Harrow family and Taaleem, is seeking to hire a creative and results-driven Marketing and Communications Executive for their founding year of operation.

In 2024, Harrow School UK entered into a landmark agreement with Taaleem, enabling the establishment of two new Harrow International Schools in the United Arab Emirates. This exciting partnership combines Harrow’s 450- year legacy of exceptional pedagogy with Taaleem’s unwavering commitment to delivering the highest standards of education. The Harrow Schools in the UAE will offer a world-class education, rooted in the Harrow values of courage, honour, humility, and fellowship, with a strong focus on preparing pupils for entry to world class universities.

The Harrow Schools in the UAE will offer an ambitious curriculum, exceptional teaching, child-centred pastoral care, and opportunities for leadership and community service. The schools will each accommodate 1800 pupils.


The Role

As the Marketing and Communications Executive, you will be the driving force behind Harrows brand presence and enrollment growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to showcase the distinctive Harrow educational experience to our community and prospective families.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Overall responsibility for the delivery of marketing and communications activities, that reflects the values and standards of a Harrow education: academic excellence, character development, and global citizenship.
  • Management of the schools social media channels and internal and external communication.
  • The mission to promote, showcase and market the school to both external and internal stakeholders – primarily parents, prospective parents, press and social media outlets.
  • The task to develop stronger loyalty and advocacy for the school and the wider Taaleem group through a range of marketing, communication and social media tactics to ensure the school meets its recruitment, reputation and retention targets.
  • The responsibility to execute Harrow International Schools Marketing strategy and working closely alongside the Taaleem Central Office Marketing team.

The Person Specification:


Required

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in marketing or communications roles
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management
  • Strong portfolio showing successful marketing campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency with marketing technology platforms and analytics tools

Desired but not essential

  • Experience in education marketing, particularly in premium international or boarding schools
  • Understanding of the UAE/GCC education landscape
  • Knowledge of Harrows heritage and educational philosophy
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems
