Job Purpose

As a Market Manager, you will support the centralized solution for hotel chain and group relationships, ensuring seamless connectivity with dnata Travel Group (dTG). You will proactively develop and manage a strong network of suppliers and service providers, acting as the single point of contact for hotel chains, DMCs, and other land suppliers on behalf of dTG and its affiliate companies. By leveraging technology, you will enable efficient connectivity with hotel partners and drive room night production across the network.

In This Role, You Will

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned suppliers to support negotiations and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and manage QBR plans in Salesforce and oversee rolling development plans for leading hotel companies.
  • Supervise Contracting Executives in executing account management activities.
  • Collaborate with Product and Market Management teams to set and deliver bed briefs, identify opportunities for growth, and optimize performance.
  • Lead supplier negotiations to secure competitive rates, allocations, and release periods in line with SLAs and briefs.
  • Drive room night materialization with continuous performance monitoring and corrective action where needed.
  • Maximize commercial returns by securing brochure contributions, sales overrides, and renegotiating terms when necessary to achieve revenue targets.
  • Oversee site inspections of properties to assess suitability and ensure accurate loading of rates and information in contracting systems.
  • Ensure Reservations, Operations, and Finance teams receive accurate data to support smooth bookings and invoicing.
  • Partner with Product teams to evaluate tactical product requirements (new destinations, weak periods, etc.) in line with business strategy.
  • Support Product teams with delivery of content, images, and product knowledge.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy, manage the contract library, and control document access to ensure compliance, record retention, and timely resolution of contract issues.
  • Ensure timely completion of contract reviews, including legal checks.
  • Implement and uphold company Health & Safety procedures.

Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Bachelors degree and 5+ years’ experience in the Tourism industry in Commercial/Sales/Contract Negotiation.
  • Strong commercial judgment in selecting, negotiating, and contracting with tour operators or hotel services.
  • Solid knowledge of geography and the tourism/tour operating industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting production and commercial deadlines.
  • Tech-savvy with an established international, industry-relevant network.
  • Excellent written and verbal English; additional languages an advantage depending on region.
