We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our dynamic team. Your primary responsibility will be to manually test software or applications to ensure they meet specified requirements and are completely free of defects and bugs. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects.
• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with software developers and project managers on product specifications.
• Log and track bugs discovered during the testing process and follow up on fixes.
• Participate in software design reviews to provide valuable feedback on usability.
• Analyze and review user feedback to improve testing strategies and processes.
• Execute regression testing to ensure that new code does not adversely affect existing features.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all the testing activities performed.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality assurance best practices and processes.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies to improve efficiency.
• Provide regular progress reports to the QA lead and other team members.
• Identify areas for test automation to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manual software testing roles required.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Ability to write comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts independently.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide constructive feedback.
