Responsibilities

• Create, update, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for software applications.
• Identify, document, and report bugs and defects using appropriate bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to address and resolve identified issues.
• Perform regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not affect existing functionality.
• Develop and maintain test plans in alignment with software development schedules.
• Analyze test results and track software failures to identify patterns or areas of improvement.
• Conduct usability testing to evaluate the software's user interface and user experience.
• Ensure software compliance with company quality standards and industry best practices.
• Participate in requirement and design review meetings to understand application functionality.
• Provide clear and detailed bug reports and feedback to development teams.
• Assist in preparing test environment configurations to correspond with testing cycles.
• Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and tools relevant to manual testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manual software testing roles.
• Proficiency in using test management and bug-tracking software tools like JIRA or TestRail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly document and report test results and findings.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
