About The Role
Responsible for planning and managing all Wedding and Social events
You will also be responsible for supporting other event and government inquiries during low wedding seasons.
Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue Seek opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the Team Manage an events schedule to maximize yield
Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach
Be aware of trends and propose ideas to build the range and quality of Catering & Events, consistently wowing our guests with creative and innovative ideas
Build strong relationships with customers and to fully understand their needs
Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds
Strong Relationships with Wedding Planners.
Organizer FAM Trips with DTCM for Wedding Planners.
Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events to full satisfaction of client
Maintain exceptional levels of guest service
Ensure compliance of brand standards
Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
Participate in hotel promotional activities
Administrative and Reporting Duties
Take full responsibility for all administrative tasks and reporting requirements related to Wedding & Events Sales
Accurately record all activities, proposals, and contracts in the Opera system.
Create and manage reservations, ensuring all client and Wedding & Events Sales details are logged accurately.
Prepare and maintain detailed banquet event orders, ensuring all client and event details are captured.
Compile and analyze weekly sales performance reports, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
Update and manage client databases to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date.
Liaise with the front office team to ensure seamless coordination of Wedding & Events Sales arrivals, check-ins, and stays.
Financial Accountability
Support in achieving departmental revenue targets, including banquet and room revenues.
Request and track deposits for events, ensuring compliance with financial policies.
Ensure quoted rates align with the company’s rate calendar and pricing strategy.
Monitor financial performance and recommend adjustments to meet revenue goals.
Marketing and Promotion
Assist in marketing campaigns to promote Wedding packages.
Collect and analyses competitor data to inform sales and marketing strategies.
Actively communicate promotional offers and wedding packages to potential and existing clients.
Leadership and Team Collaboration
Foster a collaborative environment, supporting team goals and personal development.
Lead by example, promoting One&Only’s vision and mission.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members as needed.
General Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between clients, third-party suppliers, and internal teams.
Address client feedback to improve service delivery and enhance client satisfaction.
About You
Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years in Wedding & Events Sales , event planning, or hospitality.
Education: Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Opera system for reservations and event management.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
Thorough understanding of event planning and hospitality sales processes.
